Men's Lacrosse is on a mission to qualify for a berth in the NCLL playoffs, and accomplished part of that mission on Saturday. The Hawks defeated the NYU Violets in a 9-1 hard fought victory. New Paltz was first to get up on the board, and didn't let up the rest of the game. NYU was quite physical during the entirety of the game, but lacked the passing capability of the Hawks. Kevin Carlin was the leading scorer of the game with 3 goals, with goals also scored by Matt Svoboda, Matt Laspada, Anthony Chin and Jordan Taylor. Just off injury, Eric Meah was stellar in the cage allowing just the one goal in the game and his best performance of the season.
The Hawks have one more job to do: win and they're in.
They look to defeat the Columbia Lions
