Hall of Fame InvitationHall of Fame Invitation InsertHall of Fame Inductee InvitationHall of Fame Inductee Invitation InsertNEW PALTZ, N.Y. – From Friday-Saturday, Oct. 10-11, the State University of New York at New Paltz Department of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation will host the 2014 Hall of Fame and Fall Alumni Weekend. The Hall of Fame ceremony will occur on Oct. 10, while an alumni reception will occur following the ceremony at Shea O'Brien's. Softball, women's lacrosse and swimming will all host their alumni contests on Oct. 11.
The Hall of Fame dinner and ceremony,
which will honor the College's 18th induction class of Sue Cooney '91 (women's swimming), Gordon Krajna '62 (men's tennis/men's soccer), Mario Lavacca '06 (men's soccer), Rich Marazzi '65 (baseball), Jess (Nadolny) Waldorf '00 (women's soccer/women's lacrosse) and Jill (Tournour) Burke '93 (women's swimming), will occur at 7 p.m. in the College's Multi-Purpose Room in the Student Union Building following a reception that will take place from 6-6:45 p.m. in the lobby outside the Multi-Purpose Room.
At 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, an alumni reception will be held at Shea O'Brien's, giving alumni an informal opportunity to meet up with former teammates and alumni from other teams.
On Oct. 11, the alumni event schedule will be as follows:
