SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Freshman swimmer Yuka Suzuka finished fifth overall in points scored (110) in the ECAC Championships this past weekend. Suzuka helped the women’s team finish third overall. She won the 100 Yard Backstroke in a time of 1:00.22 and touched in third in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:12.23. She was fourth in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:18.86 and was part of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay to finish third with a time of 3:40.64. She was a part of the relay team that won the 200 Yard Medley Relay in a time of 1:50.67 and second in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 4:04.96.
