Athletics are an integral part of the mission and the vision of the University. Along with the opportunity to donate directly to of our 16 varsity programs, the Athletic, Wellness and Recreation Department set up the Fund for New Paltz that contributes to the enhancement of the Athletic, Wellness and Recreation Department as a whole. Additionally, donors can contribute to the Sheppard Fund. Named for the children of beloved coach Douglas Sheppard and his wife, Aubrey, the Sheppard Fund was established to provide travel support for junior and senior athletes who are in good academic standing and have a demonstrated financial need. This fund is used to help student-athletes who participate in any out of region competition, training trips or out of season competition. To read more about the Sheppard Fund, click here.
