Supporting Hawks Men's Soccer


SUNY New Paltz is committed to fielding a nationally competitive men's soccer program that will compete for SUNYAC championships. Following the hiring of Kyle Clancy, the Hawks enjoyed some of their best seasons in program history. The future of #NPHawks Men's Soccer promises to be bright. Thank you for your support!

Program Highlights:
  • Held annual Alumni Networking Event in winter of 2025
  • Defeated No. 4 Plattsburgh in first playoff win since 2012
  • Clinched fourth postseason appearance in the last five years in 2024
  • Five players earned All-SUNYAC honors in 2024
  • Alberto Molina, Christian Micheli, and Alex Wyant earned All-Region Honors
  • Clinched fourth postseason appearance in the last five years in 2023
  • Finished Top-6 in final 2023 Region III rankings 
  • Four players earned All-SUNYAC honors in 2023
  • Six players earned All-SUNYAC honors in 2022
  • Owen McGarrity earned Third-Team All-Region honors 
  • Competed in Costa Rica for Spring Break 2023
  • Held first annual Alumni Networking Event in winter of 2023
  • Fall 2022 male team GPA winner with a 3.36 GPA
  • Sixty-six percent of the team made Dean's List in fall 2022
  • Volunteered at food pantry and local elementary school for community service events in the fall of 2022
  • 2021 Hawks matched a program-most in wins, finishing 12-5 and clinching the No. 2 seed in the SUNYAC Tournament
  • Four All-SUNYAC selections in 2021, including SUNYAC Rookie of the Year Joseph DiPreta
  • Sophomore Tim Kane named to 2021 United Soccer Coaches All-Region team 
  • Ranked as high as No. 19 in the country & No. 2 in Region III in 2021 after defeating No. 5 SUNY Oneonta
  • 2019, Kevin Doorley, First-Team All SUNYAC, Third-Team All-East Region, SUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year
  • In 2018, team earned the No. 2 seed in the SUNYAC for the first time
  • In 2018, defeated No. 14 nationally ranked SUNY Cortland
  • In 2016, defeated No. 7 nationally ranked SUNY Oneonta
