Media wishing to cover an event on campus:
If you are planning on attending a home New Paltz event, please contact Monica D'Ippolito at dippolim@newpaltz.edu no later than 48 hours beforehand. If you require any special accommodations, please let the sports information office know at that time. Any special requests the day-of will try to be met, but nothing will be guaranteed. Student-athletes enjoy a 10-minute "cool-off" period following the conclusion of the contest. The sports information contact present at the event will coordinate interview requests. Printed box scores and results will be distributed to all credentialed media, and printed season statistics will be available upon request. Press row etiquette is to be followed at all times, and all media must act in accordance with NCAA, State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and United Volleyball Conference (UVC) regulations.
Media wishing to speak to a student-athlete:
All media must schedule interviews with student-athletes through the athletic communications office. The athletic communications office will not under any circumstance give a student-athlete's contact information to a member of the media without expressed consent from the student-athlete.
Media guides:
Starting with the 2010-11 academic year, the State University of New York at New Paltz has stopped design and production of media guides. All information contained in a media guide (coaches bios, student-athlete bios, statistics, records, etc.) will be available to the general public on www.nphawks.com. The Department of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience this causes.
