Supporting Hawks Women's Soccer


SUNY New Paltz is committed to fielding a nationally competitive SUNYAC CHAMPIONS Team Celebration women's soccer program that will compete for SUNYAC championships. The women's soccer team strives to be a perennial contender in both the SUNYAC and nationally, and asks for your help. Thank you for your support!

Program Highlights:
  • Maddie Franklin and Rachel Eisert named Scholar All-Americans
  • Rachel Eisert is the programs second ever All-American
  • Rachel Eisert, Maddie Franklin, Alexis DeLeo, and Gaby Treble earn All-Region Honors
  • Program most, 9 All-SUNYAC selections in 2024 with Rachel Eisert be named SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year, and Maddie Franklin named Defensive Player of the Year
  • Coach Mike Eckberg and his staff named 2024 SUNYAC Coaching Staff of the Year
  • Hawks win the 2024 SUNYAC Championship
  • Rachel Eisert became program's first SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year
  • All-SUNYAC selections in 2023, including four first-team picks 
  • Secured a home playoff berth for the third-straight season in 2023 
  • Earned a spot in the SUNYAC Semifinal round for the first time since 2011 
  • Brooke Kelleher became the program's first ever SUNYAC Rookie of the Year selection
  • Eisert named First-Team United Soccer Coaches All-Region III
  • Six Hawks earned All-SUNYAC honors in 2022 (most ever in program history)
  • Coach Mike Eckberg and his staff named 2022 SUNYAC Coaching Staff of the Year
  • Most goals scored in the SUNYAC in 2022 (19)
  • Best SUNYAC record in program history in 2022 (tied with 2011 team)
  • Secured a home playoff berth in 2021, first time in more than a decade
  • 2021 finished 7-5-4, first winning season since 2012
  • 2017 SUNY Chancellor's recipient, Julia Friedman
  • 2017 & 2018 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Fundraising Goals:
  • New Paltz Women's Soccer is going to Costa Rica in March, 2024 and we need your help to get there!
  • External partnerships with sport specific consultants and psychologists for our student-athletes
  • Branding enhancement to improve South Turf environment and enhance experience of current and prospective student-athletes
