Supporting Hawks Women's Volleyball


SUNY New Paltz is committed to fielding a nationally competitive women's volleyball program that will compete for SUNYAC and national championships. Following another conference title and a NCAA Tournament run under head coach Matt Giufre and his staff, the future of #NPHawks women's volleyball promises to continue to be bright! Program Highlights:
  • Made 19th straight SUNYAC Tournament Apperance (2024)
  • Four 2023 AVCA All-Region selections (Cate DiGiacomo, Jamie Albrecht, Mackenzie Williams & Letisha Perez)
  • Four 2023 AVCA All-SUNYAC selections (Cate DiGiacomo, Jamie Albrecht, Mackenzie Williams & Letisha Perez)
  • Finished 2023 ranked No. 3 in final Divison III Region III AVCA poll
  • Secured 19th consecutive postseason berth in 2023
  • Earned ninth SUNYAC finals appearance in 2023
  • Cate DiGiacomo named 2022 Women's Volleyball SUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year
  • Cate DiGiacomo, Victoria Konicki & Mackenzie Williams named 2022 AVCA All-America honorable mention & AVCA All-Region
  • Letisha Perez named 2022 Dominican Sports Union Most Outstanding Athlete recipient

Goals:
  • Annual travel to national level tournaments to compete with the best
  • More technology and training aids to improve student-athlete performance
  • Increase assistant coach staffing to improve student-athlete performance through added training and mentoring
