Senior Clinton Boettcher helped lead the Hawks to a 3-2 week, including a split with nationally ranked #18 Plattsburgh State.
Boettcher started the week off with a 3-for-5, one run and two RBI performance in a 14-4 win over King's College. He followed that performance with a 2-for-4, two runs and a career-high five RBI in a 12-2 win against Mount Saint Mary College.
In the split with Plattsburgh, he was 6-for-11 with three runs and nine RBI, including tying his career-high of five RBI in game one in a 14-11 win. He also hit his fifth homer of the year in game one. In game two, he was 2-for-5 with four RBI in a 15-9 loss.
For the week, he had a batting average of .500 (12-24) with six runs, three doubles, one homer and 16 RBI. He currently leads the team in homeruns (5), RBI (32) and his second with a average of .365.
