Garafola connected on a penalty-kick opportunity in the 58th minute against Union (N.Y.) College Wednesday afternoon, lifting the Hawks to a 1-0 win over the non-conference Dutchmen. Against Skidmore College on Saturday, he had one shot, which was on frame, in a 1-0 New Paltz loss. On the season, he holds a share of the team-high in goals (4) and has helped the Hawks achieve an overall record of 7-8-0 (3-4-0 SUNYAC).
