Freshman Montana Wilson was crowned SUNYAC Champion in the second singles this past weekend in Manlius, New York. Wilson was seeded second in the tournament with a 10-4 (6-1 SUNYAC) record. Wilson defeated defending sixth singles champion from 2008 Melissa Baker (Geneseo) with a come from behind victory in three sets. She cruised through the semifinal round with a straight set victory over Jenna When (Oswego). In the finals, Wilson defeated #1 seed Stephanie DiCapin (Cortland) in three sets in a come from behind victory.
