SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Chismar tossed his third complete game and third shutout of the season (second solo) during a 1-0 win over SUNY Fredonia on Friday afternoon in SUNYAC action. Chismar struck out 12 batters in seven innings to raise his season total to 67. On the contest, he held the Blue Devil lineup to a .083 batting average, allowing just two hits and walking four. In recognition of his performance, the conference bestowed SUNYAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors upon him for the second time this season. New Paltz is now 18-14 overall (8-7 SUNYAC).
