Garafola had three assists over the weekend, helping the Hawks to a 1-0-1 record during the first weekend of conference play. He provided an assist on New Paltz's first goal against SUNY Cortland on Friday, and during that contest, he put four shots on frame. Against SUNY Oswego on Saturday, he contributed a helper on each of the Hawks' two goals, as New Paltz picked up its first league victory of 2011. New Paltz drew with Cortland, 2-2, and topped Oswego, 2-0. On the year, Garafola has two goals and a team-leading five assists for a team-high of nine points.
