Rusinak had a strong showing in his collegiate swimming debut on Saturday at the Ithaca Invitational, earning a second-place finish in the 1000 freestyle and a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle. He covered the 1000 freestyle in 10:27.71 before charting a 5:05.16 in the 500 freestyle. The Hawks (0-2) fell to both Ithaca College at SUNY Fredonia at the Ithaca Invitational and return to action on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Union Relays in Schenectady, N.Y.
