Nastasi placed no worse than eighth in the four individual events he contested at the 2011 ECAC Winter Swimming & Diving Championships from Friday through Saturday at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y. He kicked off the weekend by swimming a 27.91 split in the 50 breaststroke on the Hawks' 200 medley relay, which took fourth with a time of 1:38.12. His Saturday session began with a third-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.81), which rattled the program record of 2:10.04. He contributed to New Paltz's second-place 800 freestyle relay (7:13.21) with a split of 1:48.65, and he closed out his individual races on Saturday with an eighth-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:48.68) and a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.35). On Sunday, he swam the breaststroke leg (1:01.22) on the Hawks' fourth-place 400 medley relay that charted a 3:37.55, and he followed that up with a seventh-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:57.07. His weekend ended with a 48.82 split in the 100 freestyle swimming on New Paltz's 400 freestyle relay squad that clocked a second-place 3:14.73. As a team, New Paltz placed second out of 15 squads.
