Suzuka won two individual events and participated on two successful relays in New Paltz’s 153-101 win over Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon at Elting Pool. Suzuka won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.28 before clocking the top standard of 2:39.64 in the 200 breaststroke. She also led off the Hawks’ first-place 400 medley relay (4:12.02) with a time of 1:00.77 in the 100 backstroke, and she posted a 26.07 leadoff split on the team’s second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:47.19). The Hawks, who are 6-1, return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 4, against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Bradenton, Fla.
