Briggs batted .643 (9-for-14) for the week across four games, helping the Hawks go 2-2. He also collected six RBI, four doubles and two runs scored. Against SUNY Purchase on Saturday, Briggs went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in game one before going 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and one run scored in the nightcap. The Hawks wound up sweeping Purchase by scores of 7-2 and 13-8. On Sunday, he registered at least one hit in a pair of games against The College at Old Westbury, batting 2-for-4 with one double and one run scored in the front end of the doubleheader before going 1-for-3 in the back end of the twinbill. The Hawks were swept by the Panthers, falling by scores of 8-7 and 6-3. New Paltz is 3-4 overall.
