Grann was the winning pitcher in a 13-5 win over SUNY Fredonia on Friday afternoon, as he gave up one earned run in seven frames of duty on the mound. While he gave up four runs total, three were unearned, and he held the Blue Devils to a .259 batting average, scattering seven hits. Grann also struck out two. For the season, he sports a 3.04 ERA and is 6-3 with five complete games to his credit. The opposition hits just .220 against him, and he ranks second on the team in strikeouts with 45. New Paltz (18-17) looks to get back on track on Tuesday, April 24, as it travels to Wayne, N.J., to face non-conference William Paterson University at 4 p.m.
