Junior Peter Carmel help led the Hawks to a 2-0-1 record to start the season off. Carmel earned his first career win against Rutgers-Newark on Tuesday September 1st in the Hawks home opener in 2009. Carmel helped the Hawks finish second at the Stevens Soccer Classic with a 1-0-1 record. He earned his first collegiate shut out, making three saves against Hunter College. For the week, he made 13 saves, allowed two goals and has a 0.67 goals against average.
