Vega did not allow a goal at the Michelle Vargas-Robin Memorial Tournament from Friday, Aug. 31, through Saturday, Sept. 1, as the Hawks came away with the tournament's title. She stopped two shots in a 1-0 win over Mount Saint Mary College on Friday before turning aside three shots in a 2-0 victory over New Jersey City University on Saturday. She earned her 26th and 27th career shutouts and is now just one shutout shy of tying the program's all-time record of 28. New Paltz returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Union (N.Y.) College.
