Scher covered the 4K course at the New Paltz Invitational in 13:33 on Friday, winning the event for his first-ever collegiate victory. The Hawks finished first in the four-team field, earning the top seven individual places in the race. The Hawks are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10:30 a.m. when they travel back into Dutchess County for the Vassar Invitational.
