King averaged 10.85 assists per set in a 3-1 showing at the first round of SUNYAC East Division Pool Play. She also became the fourth setter in the history of the program to eclipse 2,000 career assists, as she now boasts 2,085 to her credit. King had 23 assists and 10 digs in a 3-0 loss to No. 9 SUNY Cortland on Friday, but in the nightcap, she rebounded by dishing out 41 assists and collecting 10 digs en route to a straight-set win over SUNY Plattsburgh. On Saturday, she boasted 44 assists in a 3-1 triumph over SUNY Potsdam, and in her final match of the weekend against SUNY Oneonta, she doled out 33 assists. New Paltz (14-3, 3-1 SUNYAC East) visits Baruch College on Wednesday, Sept. 26, in a non-conference match.
