DiMatteo scored his first career goal in the blue and orange on Monday, Sept. 8, which proved to be the game winner in a 1-0 victory over SUNYIT. He took two shots on the afternoon, and connected on his only shot on net. He added a shot in New Paltz’s 1-0 loss on Saturday, Sept. 13, to SUNY Oneonta. DiMatteo also has an assist this season, totaling three points, and he has taken 13 shots and six shots on goal. New Paltz (7-7-1, 2-5-0 SUNYAC) continues its season on Monday, Oct. 15, with a non-conference matchup against Hunter College on the Turf Field at 3:30 p.m.
