Pjetri earned Tournament MVP honors after leading the Hawks to their first-ever SUNYAC title from Friday, Nov. 2, through Saturday, Nov. 3. She made six stops and allowed one goal in New Paltz's 3-1 win over SUNY Oneonta in the semifinal round of the 2012 SUNYAC Field Hockey Championship Tournament on Friday. Pjetri then turned aside 13 shots throughout regulation and two overtime periods against SUNY Cortland in the final on Saturday, and she held the Red Dragons scoreless in the shootout to propel the Hawks to a 2-1 victory. For the year, she has an .887 save percentage and a 0.84 goals-against average. New Paltz (16-4) continues its season in the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 7, as it takes on Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
