Devine averaged 22.7 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Hawks. Devine netted 16 points and added nine rebounds in 31 minutes of action against SUNY Oswego on Tuesday, as the Hawks lost, 74-57, to the Lakers. He went 11-of-16 from the line against Buffalo State on Friday, scoring 20 points in New Paltz's 86-81 win over the Bengals. Finally, on Saturday, he scored a season-high 32 points off 12-of-15 shooting from the floor in just 24 minutes of action, as New Paltz prevailed, 98-74, over the Blue Devils. With those wins, the Hawks moved up to sixth place in the SUNYAC standings. Currently, Devine leads the Hawks in points per game (20.6) and rebounds per game (7.1). New Paltz (10-13, 8-8 SUNYAC) next faces nationally-ranked SUNY Cortland on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. in Cortland, N.Y.
