Valdivia tied the program record for goals in a game with six on Thursday against Smith College, as she helped the Hawks top the Pioneers, 19-7. Valdivia scored on six of her eight shots, and she also went 1-for-1 on free-position attempts. For the year, she leads the SUNYAC in goals per game (5.0) and ranks first on the team in goals with 10. New Paltz (2-0) returns to action on Tuesday, March 19, as it visits the University of Scranton for a 3 p.m. game.
