Caruana scored two goals and offered one assist in the Hawks' 6-0 season-opening win over Western Connecticut State University on Saturday. She assisted on the game's first goal at 30:33, and in the second half, she boasted a pair of markers. New Paltz (1-0) returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 4 p.m., hosting William Paterson University.
