Conklin tallied five goals for 10 points in a 1-1 week for the Hawks. She drew a start against top-ranked Montclair State University on Wednesday, but the Hawks wound up losing, 3-1. Conklin then broke out for a five-goal performance versus Ramapo College on Friday, leading the Hawks to a record-breaking 11-1 win over the Roadrunners. The team set program records for goals in a game (11) and largest margin of victory (10), while Conklin set single-game program records in both goals (5) and points (10). For the season, Conklin leads the SUNYAC in both goals (10) and points (22). New Paltz (3-2) next faces Morrisville State College in its SUNYAC opener on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. in Morrisville, N.Y.
