SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Vasquez led New Paltz at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park in its final tune-up before the 2013 SUNYAC Cross Country Championships, placing 26th out of 248 runners with a season-best 8K time of 26:23. As a team, the Hawks finished eighth out of 21 teams at the meet. New Paltz next competes at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by SUNY Oneonta on Saturday, Nov. 2, with the men's race beginning at 12 p.m.
