Roessler averaged 2.64 kills per set, hit at a .429 clip and averaged 0.91 blocks per set, as the Hawks went 3-0 this past week to clinch the SUNYAC's regular-season title. She contributed six kills and hit. 417 in the Hawks' 3-1 victory over SUNY Oswego on Friday. Roessler then pounded out 11 kills, hit .474 and tallied six blocks in New Paltz's 3-1 triumph over SUNY Cortland on Saturday morning. Finally, on Saturday afternoon, she chipped in with 12 kills and a .400 hitting percentage in the Hawks' 3-1 win over SUNY Potsdam. For the year, she is averaging a team-best 0.91 blocks per set, which ranks fourth in the SUNYAC, and she leads all New Paltz starters in hitting percentage (.314). New Paltz (27-5, 9-0 SUNYAC), which is riding a 15-match winning streak, next faces Vassar College on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
