Taskindoust put up two competitive seventh-place performances at the NYU Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 9, clocking a 200 freestyle time of 1:51.38 and a 100 butterfly time of 57.40. New Paltz wound up placing third out of three teams at the invitational, as two of the stronger programs in NCAA Division III, the Stevens Institute of Technology and New York University, took first and second, respectively. New Paltz (0-1) returns to Elting Pool on Saturday, Nov. 16, for a 1 p.m. dual meet against SUNY Oswego.
