Allocco achieved two NCAA provisional qualifying times, as the Hawks placed fourth out of 17 teams at the ECAC Winter Championships from Friday-Sunday at Lehman College in Bronx, N.Y. Allocco met the NCAA “B” cut in the 1,650 freestyle (17:17.62), placing second, and she also achieved the NCAA “B” cut in the 500 freestyle en route to winning in a meet-record 5:00.76. Furthermore, Allocco finished third in the 200 freestyle (1:56.15) and third in the 400 individual medley (4:35.85). She contributed to the Hawks' first-place 800 freestyle relay (7:45.20) and New Paltz's third-place 400 freestyle relay (3:36.76) as well. New Paltz returns to dual-meet competition in 2014, as it squares off with Limestone College at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, during its annual training trip in Bradenton, Fla.
