Taldi was one point shy of his career-high total in points against SUNY Oswego on Tuesday, netting 24 points in an 83-75 victory over the Lakers. It marked the Hawks' first triumph over Oswego since Jan. 20, 2001, snapping the Lakers' 20-game win streak over New Paltz. He drained 13 points and added two assists and a rebound in a 95-81 loss to SUNY Plattsburgh on Friday, and on Saturday, his 15-point effort helped the Hawks stave off SUNY Potsdam in a 66-64 victory. For the season, he is averaging 10.3 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. Taldi also is on the verge of challenging 1,000 career points, as he has 886 to date with 11 regular-season games left to play.
