Griger was a triple-event winner individually for the Hawks, but New Paltz fell, 132-130, to SUNY Cortland on Friday afternoon. Griger clocked first-place times in the 50 freestyle (25.86), the 100 freestyle (55.42) and the 200 freestyle (2:00.16), and she also competed on New Paltz's first-place 400 freestyle relay (3:44.00). New Paltz (4-2) contests Mount Saint Mary College in its final home meet of the season on Friday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m.
