Allocco won every event in which she swam across two meets, helping the Hawks go 2-0 for the week. She set an Elting Pool record in the 1,000 freestyle (10:40.94) and also won the 100 freestyle (56.87) in a 125-52 victory over Mount Saint Mary College on Friday. Allocco then helped key New Paltz in a 110-95 road win over SUNY Oneonta on Saturday, finishing first in the 1,000 freestyle (10:56.85) and the 500 freestyle (5:19.09) in addition to swimming a leg on the Hawks' event-winning 400 freestyle relay (3:45.70). Allocco set facility records at Oneonta's pool in the 1,000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. She currently holds the SUNYAC's top time in the 500 freestyle, the 1,650 freestyle and the 400 individual medley. New Paltz (6-2) has its final tune-up before the 2014 SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m. at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational.
