Weir scored two goals—both of which were game-winners—in a 2-0 showing for the Hawks at their fourth-annual Michelle Vargas-Robin Memorial Tournament. In Saturday's match against Skidmore College, she buried the eventual game-winning goal in the 47th minute, leading New Paltz to a 1-0 victory. Weir capped off her weekend with a goal in the 14th minute against SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday, scoring the first of six New Paltz markers in a 6-0 win over the Fighting Tigers. New Paltz (2-0) next competes at the Rutgers-Newark Tournament from Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 6-7.
