Tyson went a perfect 2-0 in the singles matches she played during a 1-1 week for the Hawks. She topped her counterpart at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-4, in New Paltz's 7-2 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Friday before winning, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 4 singles in the Hawks' 9-0 victory over The College at Brockport on Saturday. Tyson, a freshman, is a perfect 6-0 on the season. New Paltz (5-1) next competes at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m.
