Zwickl averaged 10.78 assists per set, leading the Hawks to a 3-0 weekend at the first SUNYAC Pool Play of the season. New Paltz was the only team in the conference to go 9-0 in sets won. Zwickl also averaged 1.78 digs per set, 0.78 kills per set, 0.44 blocks per set and 0.33 service aces per set. She doled out 30 assists and added five digs, two blocks and a service ace in a 3-0 win over host SUNY Oneonta on Friday night. On Saturday morning, she offered up 34 assists and tallied three kills, two digs, two blocks and and a service ace in a 3-0 triumph over SUNY Potsdam. Finally, on Saturday afternoon, Zwickl provided 33 assists and added nine digs, three kills and a service ace in a 3-0 win over SUNY Cortland. For the season, she is averaging 7.59 assists per set, which ranks fifth in the SUNYAC. New Paltz (17-3, 3-0 SUNYAC) next visits Williams College on Tuesday, Oct. 7, for a 7 p.m. match.
