SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Junior Justine Scutaro led the Hawks to a 2-0 start to their 2009 season. New Paltz defeated Albright 8-2 and Illinois College 14-2. In the two games Scutaro hit .625 going 5-of-8 from the plate with four RBI and four runs scored. Scutaro went 1-4 with one run and one RBI against Albright. In the game against Illinois she went 4-4 with three runs and three RBI. Scutaro was perfect in the field at shortstop while posting three putouts and four assists.
