Caruana tied the game at 1-all in the eighth minute in the team's 6-3 win against Keene State College in the NCAA Tournament first round on Wednesday, finding the back of the cage on a penalty stroke. Later on in the contest, she assisted on the Hawks' fifth goal of the game. Caruana drew a start for New Paltz in the second round on Saturday against No. 4 The College of New Jersey, but the Hawks wound up losing, 4-0, to end their season at 15-7 overall after winning their third straight SUNYAC title. Caruana finished the season tied for the SUNYAC lead in assists (9), and she also compiled six goals and 21 points on the year.
