Small led the Hawks to a 2-1 mark last week which included capturing the Wesleyan Tournament title on Sunday. During the two-day event, Small averaged 11.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg en route to being named the Tournament MVP. Against Purchase on Friday night (W, 76-46), Small scored seven points and notched four steals and one block. In the championship game against host Wesleyan (W, 50-48), Small tallied a game-high 15 points while pulling down nine rebounds. On Wednesday at Hudson River rival Vassar (L, 57-56), Small led the offense with 11 points while grabbing five rebounds and two steals. During the week, Small averaged 11.0 ppg (33 points) and 5.0 rpg (15 rebounds) in the three contests. Thus far this year, Small leads the team with 10.0 ppg. New Paltz (3-2) next hosts Mount Saint Mary College on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m.
