Rosa averaged 21.0 points per game in a 3-0 week for the Hawks, helping stretch the team's win streak to four. Rosa shot 48 percent (24-of-50) from the field on the week, including a 42.9 percent (9-of-21) clip from 3-point range, and he shot 85.7 percent (6-of-7) from the line. Rosa also averaged 4.3 steals per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game and 0.3 blocks per game. On Tuesday, he scored a career-high 31 points and shot 7-of-9 from 3-point range, including a 6-of-6 mark in the second half, to help New Paltz hand SUNY Cortland its first loss of the season by a 78-73 final. Rosa then scored a game-high 19 points and added seven steals, four rebounds and two assists on Friday, helping the Hawks edge The College at Brockport, 57-55. Finally, on Saturday, he scored 13 points and chipped in three steals, two rebounds and two assists as well in New Paltz's 75-62 victory over SUNY Geneseo. Rosa currently leads the SUNYAC in steals per game (3.2) and ranks third in the conference in scoring (16.6 points per game). New Paltz (6-6, 4-1 SUNYAC) next faces SUNY Oneonta on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 4 p.m. in Oneonta, N.Y.
