Griger won two individual events and participated on the Hawks’ event-winning 200 freestyle relay, as New Paltz topped SUNY Cortland, 125-72, on Friday afternoon at Elting Pool. Individually, Griger touched first in the 200 freestyle (2:00.75) and the 500 freestyle (5:18.64), and she split a 24.67 anchoring the Hawks’ 200 freestyle relay that clocked an event-best 1:41.65. New Paltz returns to action on Monday, Jan. 19, as it visits Ramapo College for a 1 p.m. meet.
