McCulloch won a total of six individual events and participated on two winning relays in a 2-0 week for the Hawks. On Friday against Mount Saint Mary College, she won the 50 freestyle (25.76) and the 100 freestyle (56.62) en route to the team's 115-87 win over the Knights. She then played a pivotal role in the Hawks' 142-120 victory over SUNY Oneonta on Saturday, winning the 100 backstroke (1:03.52) and the 100 butterfly (58.33) and participating on New Paltz's first-place 200 medley relay (1:53.83) and first-place 200 freestyle relay (1:42.67). McCulloch's time in the 100 butterfly, which is the fastest in the SUNYAC this season, broke the event's Elting Pool record by more than a second. On the season, McCulloch also ranks fourth in the SUNYAC in the 50 freestyle (24.85) and sixth in the conference in the 100 backstroke (1:01.19). New Paltz (6-0) will put its perfect dual-meet record on the line in its final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. when it travels to SUNY Geneseo.
