Walker led the Hawks to a 2-0 record this weekend with victories over Oswego (57-50) and Cortland (75-65) to move into a tie for second place in the SUNYAC standings. The senior guard averaged 14.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg in the wins. On Saturday against Cortland, Walker tallied a career-high 22 points and set a career-high with six 3-pointers, one shy of tying the Hawk Center record for made 3-pointers in a game. For the weekend, Walker shot 8-of-19 (42.1 percent) from the field, 8-of-18 (44.4 percent) from behind the arc and 4-of-6 (66.7 percent) from the foul line. This season, Walker ranks second on the team in scoring (8.1 ppg) and is second in the SUNYAC in 3-point field-goal percentage (35.0 percent).
