Spriggs hit 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored in a 14-5 game-one win over SUNY Potsdam on Friday before breaking out with a 2-for-5 game-two performance that included three RBI, three runs scored and two home runs in a 9-8 win in 10 innings. Her two home runs tied a single-game program record. After a hitless outing in two at-bats in an 8-4 game-one win over SUNY Plattsburgh on Saturday, she rebounded by going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one home run, one run scored and one double in a 5-4 game-two victory. On the season, Spriggs leads the SUNYAC in home runs (6) and slugging percentage (.736). New Paltz (12-7, 5-1 SUNYAC) is currently riding a five-game winning streak and returns to action on Wednesday, April 15, at 3 p.m. against Mount Saint Mary College in its 2015 home-opening doubleheader.
