Roemer played a pivotal role in the Hawks' 1-1 week, making two defensive saves in New Paltz's 2-1 win over No. 11 Montclair State University on Wednesday. Roemer, who has played every minute of every game this season for the Hawks, also helped limit the No. 20 University of Rochester to 14 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Yellowjackets on Saturday.
