Gonzalez scored two goals in a 2-1 week for the Hawks. After sitting during New Paltz's 2-1 win over Western Connecticut State University on Tuesday, Gonzalez started in the team's 5-1 loss to No. 20 SUNY Plattsburgh on Friday. Gonzalez bounced back, though, scoring the first two goals in a thrilling 4-3 New Paltz win over SUNY Potsdam on Saturday during the inaugural Heinz Ahlmeyer Game. He currently is tied for fourth in the SUNYAC in goals (4) and holds sole possession of fourth in the conference in points (19). New Paltz (9-5-0, 3-3-0 SUNYAC) next visits Hunter College on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m.
