Smith clocked his second-fastest 8K time of the season at the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday in Plattsburgh, N.Y., charting a 26:45.3 to place 32nd out of 119 runners. Smith, who was the second Hawk to cross the finish line, helped New Paltz place fifth at SUNYACs for the third year in a row. New Paltz next competes at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships in Castile, N.Y., on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m.
