Irby was a strong force for New Paltz in a 1-1 week, averaging 10 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. Irby nearly notched a double-double in a 63-54 loss to Hartwick College on Monday, grabbing a team-high nine rebounds and 10 points. In a 66-57 victory over Mount Saint Mary College Tuesday, Irby posted 13 rebounds to lead the team once again and grabbed 10 points to notch her first double-double of the season. She currently is tied for fifth in the SUNYAC in rebounds per game (9.0) while averaging 9.2 points per game. New Paltz (4-1) next hosts New York University on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.
